a music/mp3 blog covering (mostly, but not limited to) the pacific northwest. Indie, folk, experimental, electronic. Weird or pretty (and sometimes both).
Allow me some more self-indulgence because tomorrow Well, I Don't See Why Not Volume Two comes out, a compilation I put together with 21 of my favorite artists from around the pacific northwest/west coast. A lot of people who i've blogged about here and a lot more that I probably should have. I'm pretty excited, so I thought I'd post a couple songs from it. Hope you enjoy. Twig Palace- Pangea
So, I have both of these volumes and they're UH-MAZING! I really want to hear more of Kite's stuff but can't find anything online. Do you have any info about 'em?
they just put out this one self-titled album: http://msvaleriepark.blogspot.com/2009/03/kite-cd.html really solid stuff. all the material is Kendl Winter's stuff, who does a multitude of different projects, this one being fairly unique in tone, so I think that's why she formed a specific band around it.
We review things that we find interesting. By no means everything, just some of them. If you think we might be interested, we've got a po box that awaits you: P.O. Box 42081 Portland, Or. 97242 USA Who are we, you ask?
I'm really digging that Twig Palace, that's a powerful voice!
