Sandman & Kimya

What is it with these old school Olympians? They just keep getting better and better. As their star power increases they actually get...well, cooler. Take Kimya Dawson and Sandman (the Rappin' Cowboy) (no longer based in olympia, but we still claim him as ours), both were playing house shows here ten years ago and still play house shows now- even while films have propelled their careers to a place where most people would get a little too good for that sort of thing.
Currently, Kimya's making bedroom Youtube videos of political folk anthems and Sandman got a documentary made about him called Roll Out Cowboy, which looks pretty darn good and I for one can't wait to see it.
