Bicycle Records

Of all the northwest small indie labels, Bicycle gets my vote for most likely to succeed. Run by Bob Schwenkler (Google Maps, Sleep Together) and Ross Cowman (June Madrona, Fall of Electricity), it boasts a powerhouse line-up that includes Polka Dot Dot Dot, The Nextdoor Neighbors, Yes Please, Jenny Jenkins, June Madrona, and more. I see them bound for greatness. This summer, we should see the release of the eagerly-awaited second album from the Polka D's, plus a new one from June Madrona and the first Bob Schwenkler solo album. Here's a small sampling of what they have going:
(Oh, it should be mentioned that Mr. Schwenkler is the audio engineer for all the albums they put out...how many labels can say that?)
Polka Dot Dot Dot "Wicker Frames"
(off the Love Letter to New Zealand album)
Yes Please- Smoothie (off For Now For Then For Them)
Jenny Jenkins "Birdwatchers"
(off of Oventoucher)
