WhiteHorsesInTechnicolorEverywhere does up the future-retro sound. From the same ilk of Panda Bear, Lucky Dragons, Dan Deacon, etc, W-H-I-T-E makes me feel like the first time I heard Pet Sounds when I was 8 years old and the first time I saw Joey Casio when I was 21 years old. Not as soothing as the Beach Boys and not as harsh as Joey Casio, but sonically expansive, danceable and very much its own thing. His debut, SUNNA, came out on Aagoo Records last year.
