Turns out, for being more known as an acclaimed bro party haven, Santa Barbara has a lovely music scene. After our show, we stayed with a house that probably comprises most of it.
Though the people we played with (Kaitlyn, Potomac Shivers) at the show were great, my favorite Santa Barbara band became apparent the next day when we were all passing the guitar around and two thirds of Girl Band covered one of the other members' songs. The recording's not the best, but I adore it. It brings me back to the wonder that was Swift, an old Oly group that had the same three-female-voices-at-the-top-of-their-lungs, songs are sweet, but it kind of kicks yr ass too, thing.
In short, they need to make a cd and tour the world.
