Moondoggies

The happenstance of getting a new Moondoggies mp3 in my email and seeing two live videos on Sound on the Sound this morning was enough to make me have to point out the obvious fact that these guys are on right now and their next full length, Tidelands (due out in September), will probably push them into indie household namedom.
I mean the harmonies on "Old Hound" that they did for an all acapella night in Seattle? So good. Then there's this acoustic version of a song off their upcoming album that landed them with the Most Likely to Sound Like Crosby Stills Nash and Young award. Real good stuff.

The Moondoggies "It's a Shame, It's a Pity" from Yours Truly on Vimeo.

There's also this song off their new EP, which is pretty good, too. I still find it funny that the only time I saw these guys was when they first started at a living room in the Everett, Wa suburb of Lynwood.
