I love Horse Feathers. All my friends insist on saying they sound like Iron & Wine and it sometimes feels over-the-top to me, but they do the chamber-folk sound better than anybody out there. Their instrumentation and musicianship makes me await their new tunes with glee; excited about the interaction of all my four favorite string instruments, the interesting dances the bowed instruments make out of seemingly uninteresting rhythms, the violin plucks and cello rumbles. It is with said glee that I await Thistled Spring, set to come out April 20th on Kill Rock Stars. Horse Feathers- Belly of June
